Exhibit at Northwest Woodworkers Gallery
2111 1st Ave Seattle (Belltown)
ARTWALK Friday November 8th
5pm to 8pm
Freedom is what I felt when I started tearing pages out of books. Yes, it was almost scary at first, almost like breaking a law. As I began editing, dissecting and deconstructing books, I transformed
the role of the book into an altered sculptural form. The original information, as well as function, became obsolete and wonderfully new and unexpected purposes emerged.
The sculptural paintings below and others can be seen at the Northwest Woodworkers Gallery
during the month of November and December 2013.
